Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is an South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. Between 2002 until 2018, she worked as a CBS News correspondent. Jeff Fager, director of 60 Minutes, called her biased and inaccurate story on the 2012 Benghazi attack "the most serious error I've made in my 10 years." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media company) in 2019. The company was acquired by Fox Nation in January 2020. Fox News runs the subscription streaming service. She stated that she was "dumpedby the company in March 2022. Logan worked as a news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989), then in the city's Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four years with Reuters Television in Africa, she moved into freelance journalistic work. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on news events like the 1998 bombings of the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the conflicts within Northern Ireland and the Kosovo war, she worked at CNN.
