Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th 1965. She is an American producer and actress. Her most well-known work is portraying the role of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The series ended following its seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role as a regular on Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated to an Golden Globe award in 1995 for her performance on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald, an educator and family therapist, a venture capitalist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish was of English and Episcopalian descent. Sedgwick has announced that she is Jewish and is a part of Passover dinners.
